Deaconess Pre-Nursing High School Event - April 9th

Join Deaconess on Thursday, April 9th, from 6:00–8:00 PM in the Pavilion at Gateway Hospital for a free evening designed to give students a real look at what a nursing career looks like.

Freshmen through seniors and their families are welcome.

Deaconess also has so many educational assistance and tuition reimbursement opportunities to help ease the load for college students!
 
Stop by to:
• Have conversations with college representatives about their nursing programs
• Visit hands-on stations showcasing what it's like to work as a nurse
• Attend unit tours of Deaconess Gateway
• Enjoy dinner from Chick-fil-A and dessert from Kona Ice

Technical Dual Credit Program Opportunities at WCHS

The partnership between Madisonville Community College and Webster County High School continues to grow, and our students benefit!

The picture below shows three Advanced Applied Tech students, Trace Hardison, Andrew Pleskach, and Reid McDyer, who are in the MCC technical program cohort, touring Treehouse Foods in Princeton.

The dual credit technical program, which consists of 8 applied tech programs, is a great opportunity for WCHS students.

WCHS Cheerleading Tryout Information

📅 April 13th, 14th, and 16th
⏰ 4 - 7:00 PM
📍Location: WCMS Gym
📋 Hair must be pulled back. Need t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes, must have current physical, bring last nine-weeks report card, and 2 teacher recommendation letters
 

WCHS Dance Team Tryout Information

📅 April 14th, 15th, and 17th 
⏰ 3:30 - 6:00 PM
📋 Wear leggings/shorts, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes. Please bring water/Gatorade, a current physical, and 1 teacher recommendation
